You are so right Antonio. Maybe that is one reason it was introduced to California. We have a lot of rotting dead wood out here :)
Yup I agree Argy . It looks like a moth in the pics. But to the naked eyes it appears to be like some planthopper. It is tiny .
Normaly these kind of intercontinental interchanges are not good idea :-) in this case is diferent luckely :-)
Antonio,The larvae feed on dead wood.That I assume would be considered beneficial. I saw some of it's pics with wings open. Looks very pretty.
