Field Notes

Description:

Parakeets with colourful heads...green body a lovely contrast.

Habitat:

A UNESCO world heritage site in Madhya Pradesh, India, Khajuraho is a famous tourist and archaeological site known for its sculptured temples ...now it looks as if birder's should queue up as well.

I could not resist photographing them even with the Sun in my eyes.

Notes:

The male is more colourful.
