Perennial, woody plant; flowers are red-purple, pink-purple, velvety to hairy at the edges, seed pods are long and flat, brownish in colour

Wadis, hill slopes and gravel plains

Notes:

Traditional medicine for earache, also used for wounds and to relieve pain due fractures.
