Description:
Family: Arameidae (orb weavers) 1/8th of an inch. Very difficult to get a macro. Some are larger at 1/4 inch. Builds circular web and hangs trash (used prey, plant material and eggs) on its silk line. The trash line is perfect camo for the spider waiting for its prey to fly into the center of its web. Color: Brown, tan and a little reddish "eyes/decoration on abdomen". Pointed abdomen.
Habitat:
Edge of open woodlands/meadow with abundant flowers and weeds.
Notes:
Spider is nearly invisible to the naked eye and can often be seen at the end of the trash line.
