Description:

introduced to N America to control Tansy/ragwort, this dayflier is a brightly colored moth that while flying can be mistaken for the ctenucha moths of the area.

Habitat:

clearing in a forest

Notes:

I was excited to see it, but disappointed that no caterpillars were on any of the invasive ragwort
