Description:

These mangrove oysters are usually hidden from sight under the swamp waters but as the swamp is linked to the Orinocco it gets high and low tides when the basin drains so they had become visible in the low tide.

Habitat:

Caroni swamp, Near the port of Spain Trinidad.
