Field Notes

Description:

This bug has six green legs, same color to its body. It has a brown diamond at the end of its body. It is 2.5cm long (not including antenna) and 1cm wide. It has a pretty short antenna compared to its body. The antenna has a black spot at the end. On the sides of its body, there is a range of yellow and black spots.

Habitat:

A secondary rainforest in Singapore. The climate is very damp and has a lot of noises from the highway behind.

Notes:

It is also called the stink bug because they produce a bad smelling liquid to protect themselves from others.
