Field Notes

Description:

Tree with bright Pink, Magenta flowers. Thread like petals are easily shaken out of the flower. Petal length is 3 cm, total flower length is 5 cm.
30 cm leaf length, 14 cm width. Oval/ obvate leaf. Leaf texture is waxy. Entire leaf margin. Alternate leaf arrangement, netted pinate leaf venation. Tree bark is rough.

Habitat:

Secondary rainforest.
