I haven't seen it for myself but according to the guide I use and google, It's plain brown. This is the upper side view given in Wikipedia (bottom two pics): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elymnias_singhala#/media/File:MooreThe_Lepidoptera_of_CeylonPlate13.jpg
Oh... in that case, this would be Common Palmfly female. Cuz only Common Palmfly female mimics the Common Tiger.
Did you see it while flying? If yes, did it look like Common Tiger when flying?
