Description:

This insect was not active around its hive. They were small and black. They had 6 legs, 2 antenna, and one pair of eyes. This insect's hive had many octagon shaped holes, and there were many other insects if the same kind flying around the hive. The hive was small and attached to a tree, it was not hanging off of a branch like a bee's hive. It was built on the tree trunk itself.

In a small hive attached to a tree.
