Field Notes

Description:

This spider was found under a leaf, in the middle of its web. The web was thick on the outside, as you could pluck it and it would not break. Towards the middle, the web got more fragile and easier to break. The spider was 4 cm long, and 2cm at widest point. There are two long legs in the front, with a blue stripe. The spider did not move when it was picked up.

Habitat:

Secondary Forest
