nice spotting !!
In Singapore they are called Jambu Air (Malay). I've eaten the larger version before, but these are quite small fruit, about 3cm in width, so perhaps a different variety? We sometimes eat water apples in combination with salted preserved plum - the taste is a blend of sweetness and saltiness and crispiness of the fruit.
