Field Notes

Description:

I saw a moth hanging up-side-down tangled in some webbing from the roof. I got a ladder to see what kind of moth it was and to my surprise it had a tiny spider feeding on it's abdomen! A very beautiful little spider. Pieces of the web strands are visible in the 4th picture. The moth looks like a Noctuid.

Habitat:

Garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2.200 meters.
