Buttercup oxalis (Ξυνήθρα- Ξυνοτρίφυλλο)

Buttercup oxalis, in a street in Volos, Greece. Although its a weed (introduced from Malta), during the German occupation in II World war, the species provided food to the starving farmers, who used the bulbs as ingredients in soups and stews.
