Field Notes

Description:

These narcissus or dwarf daffodils are such a lovely striking yellow and usually symbolise the beginning of Spring but at the minute they probably wish they hadn't come out just yet as they have been covered by 6" of snow today!

Habitat:

In my back garden. The range of them is very large though and covers woodlands through Europe, North Africa, the western mediterranean and west Asia.

Thanks Donna, they are just lifting their heads again now after all the snow piled on top of them!
