Field Notes

Description:

Lots of these flitting about amongst the reeds but very difficult to photograph when they are always on the move. Although it does not show in photographs they are easily identified by their constantly but randomly flicking of the tail, perhaps every second or so on average.

Habitat:

Coastal marshes.
