Description:
Family: Coreidae. Possibly a nymph. Adults are about .75 inches (1.09 cm) Tan /brown/reddish-brown color with face-like design on "shield". Hind legs have flattened leaf-like expansions. Nymphs do not have fully developed wings. Long striped antennae. Pests to vegetation.
Habitat:
Meadow with abundant weeds and wild flowers.
Notes:
Also called Squash bugs because they are pests to the squash plant.
