Description:

I'm pretty sure this is a red-tailed hawk (the tail is more of a rusty color). Minor cropping. This photo was taken around sunset, maybe a little before or after. Found this less than an hour before the barred owl (see some of my earlier pictures).

Habitat:

Out in the middle of nowhere; I can't remember exactly as this was taken about a month ago, and I didn't really think I had gotten a decent picture. It was on a telephone pole probably in a field.
