Description:

This is a smaller-sized heron, spotted in a creek feeding on small minnows. Per the photos, this bird has a blue-grey head, neck, back and upperwings, with a white line along the neck.

Habitat:

This was spotted in Everglades National Park in a wooded area close to a lake.

Notes:

It did not seem to be shy about being close to humans, and went about its business with little attention to us.
