Description:

This video spotting is actually to show the congregation of this species in the evening. The bird is common...green body with a prominent neck ring in males.

Habitat:

One tree outside a Pastry shop in Khajuraho where these parakeets gather in the hundreds in the evening. The video shows the congregation.

Thank you armadeus....this was truly an amazing experience for us...I wish the light was not fading.....but still. The locals say the birds have been using this tree for years.
