Description:

The scarlet macaw is about 80-95 centimeters long and on an average, weighs about 2 pounds.

Habitat:

Tropical Lowland Rain Forest: Ecuador

Notes:

After seeing so many of these birds in captivity in the US, it was thrilling to see this one in it's natural habitat.
