Description:

This butterfly is medium in size and is known by its beautiful dark brown, red, and black wing pattern. They drink from fruit and plants and the caterpillars live off of eating nettles. The Red Admiral is fairly common in the US.

Habitat:

Found in tempurate North America, Europe and Asia.
