Description:

Tiny spider with a beautiful ZZZZZZ web.

Habitat:

In the garden adjoining a souvenir shop outside a reserve forest.

Notes:

I have seen photos of this spider on PN but cannot recall the name (remember marvelling) ...can anyone help? Please.

I also would think about Argiope sp., maybe a younger female?
Thanks, Hannah Davis...this is the second time I got to see the stabilimentum closeup...isn't it marvelous...such a small creature and such an architect...Once I finish uploading I will seriously get down to ID-ng. Thanks, a lot.
The ZZZZZ part is called the stabilimentum, which is characteristic of certain orb weaver species. One strong possibility is the genus Argiope (that's my best guess - I know they often pose like this too), but there are a few other genera that use stabilimenta as well.
