Description:

Serra Antwren (Formicivora serrana) is endemic to Brazil occurring in Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro (Atlantic Rainforest). Can be found in in the understory of semi-humid evergreen forest edge, dry scrub, second-growth woodland and even in Eucalyptus plantations (in Minas Gerais) where native understory allowed to grow. This species need more studies in ecology and taxonomy.
