Description:
Typical house centypede is about 25 to 35 mm long and has up to 15 pairs of legs. It's antennae and hind legs look very simillar in size and apirience. It is typical example of automimicry. It can reach surprising speeds running across floors, up walls and along ceilings. Its body has yellowish-grey color and three dark stripes on its back.
Habitat:
Outdoor favorite habitat for house centipedes is in cool and damp places. Most lives outside, primarily under large rocks, piles of wood etc. Indoor most commonly they can be found in basements, bathrooms, and toilets. This particular one I found in the shower cabin.
