Bushy and rugged...

Habitat:

Grows everywhere around the area on the map.

Notes:

I always was told to pull this out like a weed. Last Fall 2012, I saw one of these bloom and it was swarming with honey bees and monarch butterfly's!! So I'm going to start letting them grow wild as a border. I don't have a pic of that, but I did upload a video to "viddy." If you heard the name desert broom, then its probably the plant species Baccharis sarothroides http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baccharis_sarothroides

Sorry, must be a different plant. I THINK I've heard people call it "desert broom" or "desert bloom?"

That's the video! I tried taking a screen shot, but they moved around so much and the butterflies wings would flap a different time. Yeah. Big ups to professional photographers who can document winged things. I'm looking up the name now...
