Field Notes

Description:

A 30-40 foot tall Durian Tree. This Durian Tree has all of the Durians up very high so they are difficult to see in this picture. Also with the leaves in the way the Durians become less visible. This tree was populated with many bugs, such as spiders, and ants. The bugs probably populate there because the Durian is a good resource of food for them.

Habitat:

This specific Durian Tree was found in the Singapore American School rainforest, a natural place where bugs and plants are preserved in a place where they won't get cut down by humans or destroyed by monkeys and other animals.
