Field Notes

Description:

Primarily black w/ rows of greenish blue spots along the edges, and some orange spots on top. On the bottom there is a band of blue bordered by a row of yellow-orange spots on each side.

Habitat:

Habitat is a variety to include woodlands, wooded swamps, forest edges, and pastures. This one was found in a wooded area in a county nature Preserve along a boardwalk within a curled up spicebush leaf.
