Description:

These small Gazelles are among the most numerous on the plains of Africa and are the main prey of the predators here, namely Cheetah as they can reach speeds higher than these sprightly Gazelle but cannot keep up over extended chases. also sometimes Lion, Leopard, Hyena and crocodiles. It is named after explorer Joseph Thomson and is sometimes referred to as a "tommie" The males have the slightly curved, long, pointed horns.

Habitat:

Seen in Amboseli national park. Kenya
