Upright perennial with hairy stems
Five white petals on flower
Leaves alternate and simple

Habitat:

Normally found in roadsides, ditches or pine woods
This particular specimen was found under a powerline next to a mixed hardwood/pine forest

Notes:

Also known as Cut-leaf Hibiscus
Found at Moody Forest NA
