Description:

They have a black crown and back, and the remainder of the body is gray. They have red eyes and short, yellow legs.

Habitat:

Found throughout much of the world, they inhabit fresh and saltwater marshes. This guy was at a freshwater pond at the Sabal Palm Sanctuary.
