Field Notes

Description:

An overall silver fish with a black spot at the base of the pectoral fin.

Habitat:

Found in brackish water near the Gulf of Mexico.

Notes:

I was on a field trip sampling for fish. All the fish we caught were seined up, then we put them in buckets to look at them. The fish was only out of the water for a few seconds for us to take pictures, then were returned to the water when we were done.
