Description:

I was photographing a mushroom when I saw one of these larva. After moving the leaves around a little I discovered this massive cluster of them. I replaced some leaves over them when I left. The next day I came to check and they were gone. Possibly Bibio sp. (March Fly).

Moist dirt and leaf debris near a forested swamp
