Field Notes

Description:

4 to 5 foot tall sprawling shrub with green strap shaped veined leaves attached to a green stem. Orange "flowers" (possibly bracts due to other structure on plant). Green bundles of what appear to be compound green flowers located at stem axils.

Habitat:

Shady garden setting in front of the Boynton Beach library. Loam highly organic soil.
