Description:
Monadenia fidelis, common name the Pacific sideband, is a medium-sized species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Monadeniidae.
This species of snail creates and uses love darts.
Habitat:
This land snail is endemic to the Pacific Coast of North America from southern Alaska to northern California. At 22 to 36 mm wide, it is the largest Washington land snail species. This snail was found on a trail near Tokul creek.
