Field Notes

Description:

Male brightly colored yellow w/ some black streaks on the breast, black beak, a dark ark line below its eye and long tail.

Habitat:

Generally found along field edges and brushy areas and occasionally swampy locations. This one was spotted deeper in a city park's more forested area. It was mist netted during a spring banding project, banded, released to go on its way.
