will give that a try early spring. Winter begins here!
Anemone are wonderful and easy to plant. Don't worry about which way is up they will right themselves: http://www.easytogrowbulbs.com/g-63-anemones.aspx
I might decide to plant those here.
You are welcome. I use to plant Anemone × hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' (Japanese anemone) but it is too hot here and I miss their incredible white nodding blooms and dark green foilage.
So another wild Flower of San Franscisco which is non native which most of them are!!
Gators, this is "Purple anemone coronaria" and it is a totally wild flower in Israel and Jordan. Thanks so much for the feedback and ID.You are the most awesome !!
Picked the poppy anemone because of the petal's shape, size and number. You would be safe with just anemone sp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anemone_coronaria
