Michele, this is not A. azurea, which is found in Australia, Tasmania and some islands around New Guinea. Your bird is a Black-capped Kingfisher. I will suggest ID, have a look at http://www.birdlife.org/datazone/speciesfactsheet.php?id=1103 Cheers, Joe
