Field Notes

Description:

Saw lots of them, mostly flying but too far for me to take pictures of with my compact camera. Then I realised a few of them likes to hang out on some coconut trees just outside the Resort I was staying at. This one was spreading its wing and holding this position for a very long time, it looks like its 'sun-bathing'. The colours of the feathers on the back has a 'goldish' glow to it from the sunlight.
