Field Notes

Description:

The third largest penguin species in the world. I got some better photos, which I will upload later. The penguins we saw in the sea ice were mainly chinstraps, but I found one gentoo! (The one on the left, on the right is a chinstrap)

Habitat:

Antarctic sea ice, lives out at sea mainly

Notes:

Classed as Near Threatened by CITES
