Description:

About the size of a yellowjacket; colored as shown.

Habitat:

Nectaring on White Sweet Clover (Melilotus alba) adjacent to an arroyo (dry riverbed) surrounded by wide open fields in an otherwise urban setting.

Notes:

Females of this wasp hunt stink bugs as food for their offspring.
