Description:

In very dry conditions this small, semi-translucent, brown beetle was exploring the dessicated husks of a sedge or grass. About 12mm long.

Habitat:

Next to dry creek bed on drying grasses.

Notes:

Darkling? the eyes show some forming around the antennae? beware of impostors
Yes darkling - this one not as hirsute as some? Antennae seg. count good.
