Habitat:

Native to Australia, has spread widely as a crop pest. Lives on it's host plants which are varied with citrus being a favorite and a particular problem in Florida.

Notes:

Found on a Necklace Pod plant in a neglected and overgrown butterfly garden. Scales are such odd bugs.
