Orange-green Signal Fly

Very large fly. Larger than blowflies. Loud buzzing when airborne. Slow ponderous flight in large loops. The face is dark red. The eyes are red. There is a grey patch on the thorax with two black racing stripes while the thorax is red-brown. The legs are nicotine yellow with black feet. The wings are held out from the body ? They are yellow with black veins and black markings at the tips. The scutulum (forgot the word) is exaggerated and the abdomen truncated and rounded with no bands.
