Field Notes

Description:

Photos taken in haste in breezy conditions led me to this cool insect with crummy images. What I thought was a nymph turned out to be an adult! Smaller brown insect. Elongated head. Flat, wide abdomen. Front legs have many spines.

Habitat:

Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Found hanging on a tree leaf in a cultivated area of the park.

Notes:

My best guess for the species. Body shape seems most likely, though my images are a bit blurry to be 100% on this.
