Field Notes

Notes:

Since the drought has burned off a lot of weeds in the yard... others are popping up now. I kind of like this one and have chosen to keep it in some of my gardens. But what is it? As you can see, those are blades of grass and the flowers are tiny and blue even though the one came out white.

Thank you C. Daehler... My sighting is a bit different. The growth pattern and flowers really don't match. But again, thank you. ")
Veronica spp. (speedwell). It is probably Veronica arvensis (Common Speedwell) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veronica_arvensis
