Field Notes

Description:

These bugs were quite large, the adults about 2.5cm in length, orange in colour, green on the legs & small black dots underneath. Closest ID I could see was Bronze Orange Bug, but I'm not 100% sure.

Habitat:

Coastal.

Notes:

Nymph: Lychee Stink Bug (Lyramorpha rosea).

I'm just as confused too! I agree with you on both ID's. How strange they are hanging together on the one tree. Thanks for your help J. Thank you for your suggestion Linnea Joandi, the link you provided is in another language unfortunately. Thank you for you r help though :)
Hi Leanne! Sorry for the mess with the suggestions. :) The nymph appears to be Lyramorpha rosea, while the adult appears to be Stilida indecora. I'm quite confused with this one...
Hi Leanne, This seems to be some kind of "Pentatomidae" (http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%A4rfis).
