Description:

The plant is a shrub. Cotton grows in a boll from pods along the stems. The fibersis almost all cellulose.

Habitat:

This plant was part of a fiels in the open plains of southwest Texas. The fiels was already harvested and remnants of unpicked cotton remained on the periphery of the field.
