Congratulations Diego, your Maroon-bellied Parakeet is our Spotting of the Day: "Distributed from southeastern Brazil to north-eastern Argentina via eastern Paraguay and Uruguay, the small and rather lovely Maroon-bellied Parakeet (Pyrrhura frontalis) is our Spotting of the Day! This bird was spotted well south of its natural range in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. For a long time these parakeets were imported to Buenos Aires be sold in illegal animal-trade shops. As some were released they established themselves in local parks".
