Field Notes

Description:

There was no fruit to be found. The leaves are lancolate being 13 cm long at the longest point and 4 cm wide at the widest point. It had entire margins and a fine netted pinnate. The leaves are sub-opposite. Ant they feel smooth and leathery while being a little waxy, the bark is really sandy and seems to be pretty thin. It has a prop or stilt root.

Habitat:

Near the entrance of the Singapore American school rainforest near the shady area. It was the biggest out of the trees standing next to it.

Notes:

There was a strangler root starting to climb up the tree from the base of its roots.
